These paintings were inspired by the Fen wetlands of Prophetstown State Park. They were created as part of a project made possible through an Arts in the Parks Grant provided by the Indiana Arts Commission. Each painting depicts a native plant and animal species of the Fen. They are connected by ribbons made from Handel’s Water Music showing the interconnections of the living things that make up an ecosystem.
