This book showcases the poems, paintings and song created during a multidisciplinary collaborative art project. A musician, painter, and three poets collaborated to create an exhibit and performance inspired by the theme of Journeys.  The theme was drawn from the song “Dangerous Journey” composed by Carl Koelling 1831-1914. Each artist interpreted this theme through their own perspective, background and personal experiences. The reader will find art in each discipline that not only explores ideas of physical journeys, but also expresses internal journeys of growth and change, discomfort and regret.

This book contains six poems written by JK Anowe, Kanika Ahuja and Logan February, reproductions of the six paintings Bekki Canine created for this project , and detail images and descriptions of the thought process behind each painting. The book also gives you access to the song Sheeza wrote and recorded for this project.
